Following Kush Kazemi’s (Davood Ghadami) death in EastEnders, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) and Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) were drawn together.

Even before Kush’s death, Whitney spent a great deal of time with Gray, which was eventually the reason behind Kush’s murder as Gray couldn’t bare to let Whitney out of his clutches.

Now though, with Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) by Gray’s side instead, Whitney spends time elsewhere.

But will the two of them be forced back together when they’re set up?

Whitney comes by Gray’s to drop of Mia’s birthday present and explains to Mia things are still awkward with Gray.

Later, Gray and Whitney are in the same place, expecting to see Karen (Lorraine Stanley) when they soon realise they’ve been set up.

After encouraging Whitney to see the kids anytime, Gray gets annoyed when he realises he’s forgotten to send out invites for Mia’s party.

Feeling bad about the invites, Gray is touched when Whitney stops by to help.

If there’s chemistry between Gray and Whitney, could it lead to something more?
