The 39-year-old former porn star arrived at the studios at midday today to talk about her CBB walk-out but it was claimed she couldn't appear due to legal issues and "concerns about her daughter's custody arrangement".
Throughout today's show the panel had been hyping up Stormy's exclusive interview with them but as the programme went on they became less and less convinced she would actually make it.
Sun columnist and show regular Jane Moore was sent to her dressing room to chat to her but it became apparent she wouldn't be able to appear despite being in talks with show bosses since 8am this morning.
Host Kaye Adams explained: "This is what happened. 8am this morning we made contact with Stormy, and went back and forward and back and forward, there are huge legal implications we had to be careful. We had to change our pick-up address and everything.
"She arrived into the building we saw her go down the stairs, we sent Jane out to have a word."
Jane then appeared and revealed exactly what had just happened and the real reason she quit CBB.
She said:"That was a nice chat with Stormy. This is her side of the story. Late last night, she showed me the emails, there was a custody development involving her seven-year-old daughter. She showed me the email. And she thought, I can't commit to being in the house.
"What she wanted to do allegedly, she said being a mother comes first. She said I will go on the live show and to explain why I am not going into the house. That was all agreed and suddenly it wasn't.
"Now I have not had a chance to speak to Channel 5, it has now become a legal situation. She has been told she can't talk to us."
Jane added: "She's furious. She wanted to be sitting in this chair. She wants to come out but she also says that two plane tickets were bought for her to leave at 7.30am this morning. She had not bought them.
The last minute decision for her not to appear on the Loose Women comes just hours after she also pulled out of Celebrity Big Brother.
Stormy was a huge signing for Channel 5 and she was expected to speak about claims she slept with US President Donald Trump in 2006 but had a furious bust-up with producers after demanding more money.
She was offered £750,000 to take part but demanded an extra £100,000 when she arrived in London.
A source told The Sun Online : "From the outset it was clear something was wrong and once she sat down with the producers all hell broke loose. They just didn't get on.
"Stormy point blank refused to appear on the show on Friday night when she was scheduled to go in.
"They tried everything to persuade her to stay and no one could work out why she'd fly all the way from the US to London before deciding to drop out. Let alone turning down that massive fee.
"Eventually her people said she would go on for an extra £100,000, but 'CBB' said no, so she just walked away.
"To say it's been a nightmare is an absolute understatement. Everyone is completely baffled."
Bosses are utterly devastated by the news after we revealed that they had named the whole series after her.
