A STRICTLY Come Dancing celebrity has been forced to pull out of this weekend's show.
The BBC One dance show has been thrown into chaos as Amanda Abbington has fallen ill.
Actress Amanda, 49, won't take to the dance floor on Saturday night with her partner Giovanni.
The Beeb have said the Sherlock and Doc Martin star will hopefully return to the competition next week.
A spokesperson explained: “Due to medical reasons Amanda Abbington will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.
"Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, Amanda and Giovanni will return the following week.”
Amanda and Giovanni had been due to perform a Cha Cha on this weekend's Strictly.
Host Janette Manrara broke the news of Amanda falling ill on spin-off show It Takes Two.
Opening the show, the new mum announced: "We have some breaking news, unfortunately due to medical reasons, Amanda will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend."
Fans immediately rushed to social media to send well wishes to the pair.
