Strictly Come Dancing faced plummeting viewing figures for the second year in a row, according to the overnight ratings.
The popular BBC dance show was watched by an average of 6.6 million viewers on Saturday night (September 23). However, in 2021 the launch show saw an average of 6.8M viewers tune in, while the 2021 live programme was seen by 7.9M.
At its peak, Saturday attracted an average of 7.2 million viewers which is on par with last year's results. However, the BBC did receive some good news as last week's launch attracted a peak of 6.7M viewers, which was considerably higher than last year's peak at 5.6M.

Strictly returned to screens with a bang on Saturday night with a number of celebs raising the bar in week one. But with any live show, accidents can occur which happened to be the case for pro dancer Nancy Xu.
The 32-year-old left viewers concerned during Saturday night's show (September 24), after fans noticed blood on her neck. The injury appeared to have happened following her first dance with TV icon Les Dennis.
While chatting to presenter Claudia Winkleman, Nancy held her neck with a tissue as she tried to conceal the accident. But not long after, fans were left questioning if she was OK when they saw blood trickling down from her ear.
Since the incident took place, the dance professional has spoken out for the first time as she took to Instagram to comment on her routine with Les. However, she failed to address what happened to her.
Sharing a gorgeous snap of herself dancing with Les on Saturday, she said: "That's week one done. Hope we did bring a bit of smile on your face." She then gave a special mention to those who put her glam look together.
Heading to the comment section, fans replied back to her with one writing: "Your dance made me smile. Les was so determined and focused."
But some fans still decided to bring the attention back to her neck. One fan penned: "What happened to your neck, hope you are ok," while another said: "Hope your neck is okay after it was bleeding."
According to RadioTimes, Nancy's injury was down to a very small cut from her earring. Although it wasn't spoken of, the cut may have happened during or shortly after her energetic routine.
