Strictly fans ‘expose’ reason behind Tony Adams and Katya Jones’ ‘heated feud’

Strictly Come Dancing fans have grown concerned for Tony Adams and Katya Jones after spotting what they thought was a heated feud between the pair.

Football legend Tony and his Strictly pro partner Katya appeared to be caught in a tense exchange during Saturday night's live show (November 5).

It was a tough ride for the duo as Tony made mistakes during their salsa routine to Pitbull's I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho), and the pair ended up bottom of the leaderboard.

Eagle-eyed viewers believed they'd spotted Tony and Katya having a row in the background of the show after getting their feedback from the judges.

They certainly seemed deep in conversation whilst show hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman were wrapping up.

The footy ace was gesturing with his hands and Katya facing away from the camera, but it of course remains unclear what was said and whether they were actually arguing at all.

However, some fans have aired concerns about the couple and some have offered theories as to why they might have clashed.

One fan on Facebook reckoned she might be unhappy with Tony's performance as they felt he lacked concentration during the risky routine.

They said: "He was unfocused – which is unsafe during a dance routine like that."

Katya herself admitted she'd shouted "Focus!" at her partner to keep him on track.

A second viewer complained: "She's carrying quite a burden there to be fair", whilst a third wrote: "She looked like she was really angry with Tony and was telling him right there on set."

Head judge Shirley Ballas told the 56-year-old he'd "made too many mistakes" in the salsa, which earned them just 21 points.

Craig Revel Horwood, echoed Shirley's criticisms as he said: "You had a good go, but no it didn't work tonight. It's a shame."

Tony told Claudia: "I was too busy having fun. The crowd was all up and it was great, then I looked down there [at my feet] and thought 'oh sugar, what's going on there'. I looked at her [Katya's] face and she went 'oh my god'."
