This year’s line-up of stunning single contestants arriving in the Too Hot to Handle villa have finally graced Netflix subscribers’ screens for the second season of the hit reality series. However, with all the stars under the illusion they’d signed up for a no-holds-barred, sex-filled summer in the sun as part of fictional reality series Parties in Paradise, the like of Cam, Emily, Larissa, Chase and the rest of the line-up were stunned when Lana emerged with her strict no-sex rules. But do they really have no idea? Express.co.uk spoke to Cam, Emily and Larissa to find out.
Upon their arrival on the island, it’s fair to say sexual tensions were running high in the season two premiere of Too Hot to Handle.
With each contestant expecting a sex-filled summer of fun, it soon became clear they’d been duped and instead, the singletons would have to form meaningful bonds without sexual contact.
Of course, this was a lot easier said than done, with each time contestants enjoyed a bit of hanky-panky, a deduction from the $100,000 jackpot was implemented by Lana.
Discussing whether they really had no idea what they were signing, Emily told Express.co.uk: “No, they played us so well.”
She continued: “You know, they’re all wearing Parties in Paradise t-shirts, the hats.
“And they had a fake host. So yeah, I genuinely had no idea,” she added.
Fans even got to see fake host Jeff in action in the season two premiere as he arrived in the villa to tell the line-up they could “go wild” on the show.
Of course, this was all a ruse as Cam delved further into how the cast were kept in the dark.
“It was like all – there are all these subtle cues,” Cam began to explain.
“Like when I was picked up to go to the villa, the driver’s wearing a hat that said Parties in Paradise backwards.
“I was looking at it the whole time thinking, ‘Okay, that must be Parties in Paradise.’
“Like why would they buy fake hats? Like who goes to that length? But they did. They bought fake hats.”

Larissa echoed Cam and Emily’s thoughts, admitting she too was none the wiser as to what she’d signed up for.
But despite being told all sexual contact was off-limits, it didn’t stop a number of the cast from breaking the rules from the off.
With Cam and Emily quickly striking a bond in the first four episodes, they were just two who ended up losing money from the cash pot.
However, contestant Peter also managed to deduct cash from the jackpot – despite not being in a couple – by kissing Melinda and Carly in one night.
Inevitably, no one is best pleased when they hear about the rule breaks on the show, but is it out of anger about the money of jealousy?
“100 percent jealousy,” Emily said without any shadow of a doubt.
Cam agreed, admitting he found some of the rule-breaks actually “funny” when hearing all the details.
Too Hot to Handle season 2 is available to stream on Netflix now.
