Virgin River Holiday Episodes: Teaser trailer
Virgin River fans were engrossed in more small-town drama as the beloved drama returned to Netflix with season five, part two.
Its two joyful episodes landed three months after the bombshell finale where Charmaine Roberts (played by Lauren Hammersley) confirmed drug kingpin Calvin (David Cubitt) was the father of her twins.
With this mystery finally resolved, fans were also looking forward to seeing the hairdresser give birth, after first announcing her pregnancy in season one.
Charmaine’s lengthy pregnancy became a long-running joke among fans and also off-camera between the crew, according to the star.
However, there was huge a turning point in the recent episodes, as Charmaine’s waters broke and she finally gave birth.

Fans were thrilled to watch Mel Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge) help with the delivery and welcome to twins.
This sparked a frenzy with viewers as they took to social media with relief and excitement.
A thrilled @shakniqa_lacre exclaimed: “Charmaine’s water broke!!! She’s FINALLY having them twins!!!”

Addressing the actress, @rssb_82 wrote: “Just wanted to say congratulations, must be so nice after wearing that belly for 5 years for the longest pregnancy in history.”
While @Staci4AU remarked: “And 3 years later Charmaine finally has those babies. Thank God.”
During the finale, there was a funny nod to the long pregnancy just moments before the birth as Mel told the expectant mother that she only has a “few more weeks to go.”
To which Charmaine joked and responded: “I feel like I’ve been pregnant for years.”
