WandaVision: Elizabeth Olsen stars in Disney+ series trailer
Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (played by Elizabeth Olsen) blindsided fans when she suddenly became pregnant at the end of WandaVision’s second episode. As the brand new Disney Plus series continues, some comic book experts believe the shocking twist could be setting up yet another superhero team from the Marvel universe.
Comic book fans are speculating the Young Avengers could eventually be introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the events of WandaVision’s second episode.
At the end of last week’s two-part premiere, Wanda discovers she has suddenly become pregnant, which shocks her robotic husband Vision (Paul Bettany).
If the series follows Scarlet Witch’s comic book storylines, she could give birth to twins during an upcoming episode.
Indeed, official stills from a later episode feature Wanda and Vision each holding a new baby, which confirms the superpowered couple will soon welcome two bundles of joy to their sinister sitcom home.

Recent Marvel comics have introduced a number of teenage heroes, collectively known as the Young Avengers.
Among them are the powerful twins Wiccan and Speed, whose powers echo those of their mother, Wanda Maximoff and her own twin brother, Pietro/Quicksilver.
While it’s unlikely Wanda’s new children will grow up to become their comic book counterparts in this year’s miniseries, their appearance could be setting up a future Young Avengers film or series somewhere down the line.
One fan speculated on Reddit: “Do we get Wiccan and Speed at the end of this?”
“It could kick start some good ole Young Avengers roster. We know Ms. Marvel is coming so it may not be that far -fetched.”
A number of upcoming projects for the MCU have already been announced, comprising the series’ ‘Phase Four’ after the crossover event Avengers: Endgame.
Marvel Studios have also cast a number of members of the adolescent team, including Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop/Hawkeye and newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel.
Now several older characters have made their exit, producer Kevin Fiege has hinted fans will be seeing new heroes and teams, including the X-Men, introduced in the series.

Marvel is showing no signs of slowing down, so the biggest franchise in the world could have yet another successful property on their hands with a future Young Avengers spin-off.
On the other hand, Marvel aficionados have also pointed out some striking similarities with Brian Michael Bendis’ House of M storyline.
The TV adaptation is speculated to provide an explanation for the X-Men’s introduction to the franchise, after the rival team was originally owned by 20th Century Fox.
Additionally, the iconic comic book run also had dire consequences for Wanda and Vision’s twins, as one fan explained.
They said: “In the comics, [supervillain] Mephisto’s soul was used by the Scarlet Witch to give birth to twin sons, Tommy and Billy.
“In the trailer, we see two (potentially empty) cribs, and Agnes reacting in surprise. In the comics, Mephisto reabsorbs the twins, ending their existence.”
Once Wanda finally emerges from her trauma-induced reality, it may be revealed the twins had been a figment of her imagination all along.
Plus, demonic villain Mephisto is heavily tipped to make an appearance in the miniseries, potentially to tear Wanda’s illusions apart before the twins have the chance to grow into their comic book counterparts.
WandaVision continues Friday, January 22 on Disney Plus.
