The barbaric sport made a comeback in America this year after being forced underground for 150 years.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship returned to the US this summer in Wyoming, after a lengthy search for a state willing to host the event.
It calls itself "the truest form of bare knuckle fighting" – with fighters allowed to wrap their hands within an inch of the knuckle.
It reached a popularity peak at the end of the 17th century before being forced underground with the introduction of the Queenbury rules in 1867.
These stomach-churning pictures were taken at the MS Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Missisipi – the second BKFC event.
