BBC Newsreader Tim Willcox has secretly tied the knot with a political analyst seven years on from his affair with fellow BBC presenter Sophie Long.
The silver haired newsroom Romeo wedded Najah al-Otaibi, who regularly appears on the BBC in her role as an analyst specialising in Middle Eastern affairs.
A source close to Mr Willcox told The Daily Mail: “Tim is very happy and has been gushing about Najah to his colleagues.”
Ms al-Otaibi has been a senior analyst at a Washington-based think-tank but met the 56-year-old during her time based in London.
The couple were snapped together at Royal Ascot in June this year.
The newlyweds were caught up in this week's British Airways IT failures, which turned their trip to the French Riviera into a 20-hour 'nightmare'.
Tim told of how passengers were “seething” after their flight to Nice was cancelled.
He added: “I can't afford to spend £1,000 on two flights.”
The couple eventually arrived after catching a flight to Paris.
Tim previously hit the headlines following his well-publicised affair with Sophie Long.
He was at her wedding to yacht company sales director Will Green in Cornwall in 2010.
A former member of the British Youth Orchestra, Tim even serenaded the bride and groom with his trumpet.
But eventually an office romance developed between the pair and she left her husband two years later.
Tim told his wife of 17 years and mother of his four children, Sarah, that he had fallen for Ms Long.
But he and Sophie later split after the lothario was linked with another blonde, Tessa Hardy, the estranged wife of telecoms multi-millionaire Warren Hardy.
