PARENTS have been warned not to let their kids walk home alone from school after a person was allegedly attacked.

Headteacher Elena Kkama added that they must be extra vigilant when it is dark outside.

It comes after a person was allegedly attacked near some woodland in Solihull, West Midlands.

A message from headteacher Elena Kkama read: "We have had a report from parents that a member of the community was attacked in the woods near our school yesterday around 5pm and another member of the community was followed.

"Please speak to your children about being safe and not travelling alone after school, particularly when it gets dark.

"These incidents have been reported to the police and I urge anyone who sees any suspicious behaviour to do the same. Please take care and be safe."
