She is known for showing off her incredible physique. 

And once again, Eva Longoria, 48, looked simply sensational as she larked around with her son Santiago Enrique Bastón, during a trip to Marbella on Thursday. 

The Desperate Housewives star, who shares Santiago with husband José Bastón, was letting the good times roll as she partied in her sexy one-piece.

Her one-piece featured a high-rise hip to lengthen her legs and a plunging halterneck which gave a peek of sideboob. 

She covered up her beach ensemble with a complementary yellow short while accessorising with gold hoops and a stack of chains.

The outing comes after Eva stated that Desperate Housewives would be ‘cancelled’ if the dark-comedy were to be on screens in the modern day.

The star, played conniving but loveable supermodel Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television series which ran from 2004 to 2012, and for which she received Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. 

Storylines and behind-the-scenes snippets left jaws dropping, including Gabrielle’s statutory rape of her 17-year-old gardener John Rowland (played by Jesse Metcalfe), a lack of diversity and showrunner Marc Cherry’s spat with cast members. 

In light of some of the more shocking elements of the show, Eva conceded that things may not hit screens and could even be cancelled. 

She told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I don’t know if we could do the show today. I think we’d get cancelled. ‘I mean, not cancelled on TV but like cancelled in culture because it was so groundbreaking…

‘We said and did so many things that were shocking at the time,’ 

She recently discussed the prospect of a reboot, to which she said: ‘I’d be the first one to sign up. I’d probably be the only one.’

It was then that she nabbed her career-making role as Gabrielle on Desperate Housewives, where she starred for the entirety of the eight series. 

She starred alongside Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer), Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) and Marcia Cross (Bree van de Kamp) in the show. 

Her storyline with John Rowland was a main feature of the first series of the show, while off-screen antics hit headlines even further. 

The show frequently came under fire for lack of diversity, before Alfre Woodard starred as Betty Applewhite for one series from 2005 to 2006. 

It was long reported that the cast had an ongoing spat with Teri – with Nicollette Sheridan branding her ‘the meanest woman in the world’.

Off-screen, Marc went to war with Nicollette, who played Edie Britt.

Nicollette was axed from the show in its fifth series in 2009, with her character Erin Britt being killed off after being electrocuted following a car accident. 

She later sued the Desperate Housewives creator for wrongful termination, breach of contract and battery. The broadcasters have claimed the director gave her a ‘light tap’ while they were rehearsing a scene.

Marc insisted she only had a one-year deal and the renewal option wasn’t utilised until the end of each series. She meanwhile claimed she was slapped on the head by Cherry because she had criticised the shows scripts and denies she was unprofessional during filming.

However Nicollette had claimed the ‘incident’ had been dismissed following an investigation as being ‘a light tap’ on her head, and no further action was taken.

Cherry always denied he and Sheridan had anything more than a verbal argument.

Elsewhere, it was reported that during a Vanity Fair shoot between the leading ladies in 2005 a war broke out over placements and outfits.

Eva and Marcia reportedly threatened to walk off if they posed with Teri Hatcher in the centre – and she ended up on the far left of frame.
