Kevin Costner’s ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, has admitted that it’s ‘bittersweet’ to see him dating again just three months after their divorce.
A friend of Christine’s shared her feelings with the MailOnline after Kevin was spotted getting cosy with singer Jewel.
The insider revealed: “Christine said she’s not surprised that Kevin has moved on so quickly, but he didn’t need to make it so obvious by wrapping his arms around her.
“She said she’s happy for him, but it still isn’t a great feeling seeing your ex with someone new.”
Kevin and Christine ended their 19-year marriage in May, after which they spent months sorting out the terms of their divorce in court.

A friend of Christine’s revealed: “She never could have imagined he and Jewel dating, but in retrospect it makes sense.”
They added: “They’re both into music, into that cowboy thing. What’s not to like about her. At least Jewel is a down to earth person and has her own thing going on.”
“Christine said the last thing she wanted was for some fame seeker to come along and play mom to their three children. But Jewel has a son of her own, she has her own life and isn’t a gold digger. So that’s a relief.”

Kevin and Christine are parents to three kids, Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.
Their divorce settlement was finalised by a judge on September 19.
The judge reportedly told Christine that their 18-year-old prenup would be enforced and if she didn’t agree, she’d have to pay over £1million plus Kevin’s legal fees.
A spokesperson for the couple shared a joint statement, saying: “Kevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings.”
