Friends star Matthew Perry dies aged 54

Matthew Perry tributes have flooded in from around the world following the tragic news of his death.

In light of the tragic event, pictures have emerged of Matthew in good spirits at an LA restaurant just a day before his tragic death aged 54.

Matthew was dining with a mystery brunette at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, California on October 27.

Insiders have told TMZ that the duo sat for over an hour and a half before leaving together.

However, according to sources, the actor appeared to ignore his food as he was so immersed in his guest.

The afternoon meal came just one day before Matthew was found by his assistant in his hot tub, sparking a wave of tributes.

On the day of his death, the late star returned to his Pacific Palisades home after playing a two-hour game of pickleball when he asked his assistant to run an errand.

Two hours later, the assistant discovered him submerged in his hot tub and called 911.

Investigations into his death are still ongoing, however, officials have said there are no indications foul play was a factor.

The Friends alum dated a string of high-profile women throughout his Hollywood career, including Lizzy Caplan, Julia Roberts, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

But after his engagement to Molly Hurwitz ended in 2021, sources have claimed the actor longed for a wife and family.

Sources told the MailOnline: “Matthew always dreamed of having the perfect family.

“He wanted a wife and at least a couple of kids. And he said he wouldn’t even mind marrying a woman who already had kids.

“Lately the star has been looking for love again. But a string of failed relationships left him feeling sad and depressed, and as if he would never find that love he longed for.”
