I’d finished a gym workout when I realized how my shorts fail when I sweat – I’ve worn them so many times, I’m mortified | The Sun

AN exercise enthusiast has shared the embarrassing moment that she suffered a fashion failure in public.

She had been walking around her local gym unaware of the problem with her outfit until she looked in the locker room mirror.

Jessi (@jessibfit) boasts almost 57,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares her daily workouts for sculpting an enviable physique.

She took to the social media platform after noticing a glaring issue with her outfit choice.

She donned a black sports bra and gray shorts with sneakers as she posed for a selfie in the mirror at her local gym.

The text over the video read: “I was today years old when I realized these shorts turn completely see-through when I sweat.”

The fitness fanatic continued to smile as she slowly turned around to reveal that a sweat patch had formed on the back of her shorts.

The sheer material had gone almost completely see-through and as she wasn’t wearing a long top, she had been unknowingly exposing her bottom to everyone in the gym.

She captioned the post: “I have worn these SO many times with dark colors under them and never even thought about it [laughing].”

The video went viral and quickly gained thousands of likes as people took to the comment section in hysterics.

“I was wondering why I was getting looks like [raised eyebrows],” Jessi said.

Many commenters admitted they had similar wardrobe mishaps while working up a sweat.

Jessi’s post came after another TikToker was left mortified because her outfit broke dress code rules.

Tash (@tashabrazilliano) was filming her exercise regimen to share with her over 425,000 followers when a gym employee interrupted.

The content creator was wearing green shorts and a matching sports bra paired with white sneakers.

The employee told her: “There’s a dress code. I’m not going to kick you out but next time please bring a shirt.”

Tash was shown a sign on the wall that listed the dress code alongside graphic examples of what is and isn’t considered appropriate.

Prohibited items included exposed chest/midriff, exposed buttocks (no excessively short shorts), undergarments worn as outer garments (i.e. sports bras), and open-toe shoes.

She said: “The haters are going to love this [laughing] at least my fit is cute.”
