Gemma Atkinson strips to bra as she prepares to cheer Gorka on at Strictly final

Gemma Atkinson stripped down to her bra as she munched on pizza while preparing to support her fiance Gorka Marquez at the Strictly Come Dancing final.

The former Hollyoaks star took to Instagram to share details of her day with fans as she got ready to head to Elstree Studios and watch Gorka take to the dancefloor alongside celebrity partner Helen Skelton.

Gemma, 38, settled into her hotel room wearing a beige hoody with her hair tied in a ponytail and no makeup ahead of the event and began getting ready by chowing down on a large cheesy pizza.

Showing off the yummy-looking meal to her followers she then stripped down to her bra to avoid dropping any food on her clothes.

She said: "Checked into the hotel ahead of tonight's show, need to do my hair and makeup clearly, but the first thing you do in any hotel, what's the first thing you do? A lovely cheese pizza just for me. Deffo no spillages, I'm eating it in my bra. No spillages today."

Gemma is no stranger to a Strictly final night, having competed on the show herself back in 2017 when she and her Strictly Professional dance partner Aljaž Škorjanec made it all the way to the grand finale.

While she didn't take home the coveted Glitterball Gemma did find love with Gorka while appearing in the hit series.

The pair began dating and by February 2019 announced that they were expecting their first child together.

Gemma welcomed their baby daughter Mia, three, in July 2019 and the couple got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2021.

Gorka and Helen have had an incredible three-month journey to the strictly final with the pair climbing the ranks to become fan favourites as they head into the final.

While bookies predict they will finish second on the night, with the Glitterball Trophy expected to go to Hamza Yassin and Jowita Pryzstal the pair are still in the running.

Fellow finalists Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu and Fleur East and Vito Coppola will also compete for the trophy with all the finalists performing three dances before the winner is decided.
