The news comes after it was revealed that the highly anticipated Shane Warne docuseries, titled Warnie will soon be shown in Australia and an actress will be stepping in to play Liz.

British actress Shanti Kali was recently announced as the star who will appear in the drama as supermodel Liz, who was previously engaged to late cricket player Shane between 2011 and 2013.

Shane and Liz first got together in late 2010, before he asked for her hand in marriage in September 2011, but they sadly parted ways before they said "I do" in 2013.

Before his passing in March last year, Shane said: "Who knows what the future holds?

"There's a difference between in love with someone and loving someone. I'll always love Elizabeth but I don't think we'll ever get back together."
