RUBY Allen takes sickening action to shut Jean Slater up next week in EastEnders.

The club owner – played by Louisa Lytton in the BBC soap – recently confessed to Stacey Slater's mum that she didn't push her down the stairs.

Earlier on in the year Ruby suffered from a miscarriage, but blamed losing her baby on Stacey (Lacey Turner) after they had an altercation on the club's stairs.

Ruby made a statement to the police stating that the cleaner pushed her down the stairs and because of that, she lost the baby.

Before Stacey was sent away to prison, Jean asked the businesswoman to retract her statement.

Ruby made out that she tried to out of the goodness of her heart, but the police didn't buy it.

Recently she confessed to Jean (Gillian Wright) that she didn't, which left Jean fuming when she realised that her daughter is in prison for no reason.

The cleaner told her that by the time she returned to the Square after her visit to son Shaun, she needed to tell her partner Martin Fowler (James Bye).

Next week Jean arrives back in Walford to find out that Ruby hasn't done what she's asked.

She sticks to her word and plans to tell Martin herself, so asks him to meet her in her garage.

However she soon asks him to leave because the marijuana in her shed managed to multiply during the time that she was away and she had to get him out.

He returns home to a nervous Ruby, but she was left over the moon when it was made obvious Jean didn't say anything to the market trader.

Later on in the week Stacey and Martin's daughter Lily is caught with drugs at school.

Jean starts to get impatient with Ruby and wants her to tell Martin the truth.

However the club owner has hatched a plan to keep quiet about what she told her.
