Khloe Kardashian's ex Lamar Odom joins Celebrity Big Brother season 3 alongside Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler

LAMAR Odom and Shanna Moakler, Khloe Kardashian and Travis Barker's exes respectively, have officially been announced as members of the Celebrity Big Brother season 3 cast.

CBS shared the official cast lineup on Wednesday.

The network put rumors to rest, announcing for the first time that Lamar and Shanna would appear on the show.

Prior to the announcement, the duo weren't among those folks were buzzing about potentially appearing on the show.

This will mark the first time the two Kardashian-adjacent stars have had the opportunity to come together.

They will be joined by several other high-profile stars, including Teddi Mellencamp, Todd Bridges, Chris Kattan, Cynthia Bailey, Carson Kressley, Toddrick Hall and more.

Ahead of the announcement, it was rumored that Erika Jayne would star.

The Sun previously reported that she was unable due to a rule from the network.

Andy Cohen, who serves as an executive producer on the Real Housewives franchise, also addressed the rumors.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN

During an episode of his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live, he revealed that it wouldn't be possible for Erika Jayne to appear.

The Sun's source previously said that Bravo stars aren't typically allowed to appear on shows on other Networks.

While NBC owns Bravo, Celebrity Big Brother airs on CBS.

Additionally, Andy noted that Celebrity Big Brother requires stars to live in a "contained" environment.

Erika has been working with Bravo on the upcoming season of RHOBH.

Andy said on the radio show: "She's shooting the Housewives of Beverly Hills right now everybody, I hate to burst your bubble."

It seems likely that Shanna and Lamar's joint appearance on the Bravo show will likely lead to chatter about the Kardashian family.

Lamar hasn't shied away from speaking about his ex.

UNCENSORED

The NBA player appeared on TV One's Uncensored, where he opened up about everything from his career to his battle with addiction and his past romances.

Lamar spoke openly about dating Taraji P. Henson, as well as his marriage to Khloe Kardashian.

He admitted that he was to blame for how things played out with Taraji, whom he dated before he met and married Khloe.

Lamar dumped Taraji to begin a relationship with Khloe after meeting her in a club.

Their romance heated up fast and the pair were married in a flash.

He said in the interview: "Things ended with me and Taraji because be being an immature punk, I didn't know how to tell her I was falling in love with another woman named Khloe Kardashian."

The former Lakers star confessed in the clip: "I just wish I could have respected women a lot more. Maybe I should have respected them a lot more from not having a mother. For some reason — I don't know — I just over did it."

He recalled the beginning of his romance with the Empire star, revealing: "I met Taraji at a HBO party. I met her, we hit it off right away and I remember I really, really, really started liking her and I just wish I would have done things different with her.

"She was a little older than me but I learned a lot from her because that was the most significant relationship, as a grown up, that I had with a Black woman.

Of his relationship with Khloe, he said: "I'll never for that day because of them eyes. Her eyes are the same shape as my mothers eyes, Khloe's.

"I didn't even know who she was. I was Lamar Odom. I didn't give a f**k about no Kardashians. But that night changed my life."

After meeting, the pair hit the ground running.

He said in the interview: "Every day we were together and then 30 days later we got married. I would say that probably was like the most happiest time of my adult life."

Although he is no longer part of the Kardashian family, he has no hard feelings toward them.

Lamar said in Uncensored: "They’re driven. A bunch of driven young ladies and I wish them all the wealth and health in the world."

Shanna, meanwhile, has been a lot more tight-lipped about Travis and his new fiancée Kourtney Kardashian.
