Love Island fans demand change as they say promo photos ‘did cast dirty’

Fans of Love Island are demanding a major change as they claim the contestant's promotional photos are not up to scratch.

The hit dating show is about to make an epic return to screens on Monday, June 5 following a successful winter series earlier this year.

Heading back to sunny Majorca, presenter Maya Jama will help the first 10 contestants potentially find love.

But fans are up in arms once again, as some have complained that the promotional photos used to showcase the brand new contestants are not the same as their Instagram snaps.

Seeing the major dissimilarity with the photos online, fans have headed to Twitter to share their grievances.

One social media user wrote: "PLEASE I AM BEGGING CHANGE PHOTOGRAPHERS #LoveIsland."

Another penned: "Please take better photos of all islanders."

A third wrote: "Love Island throw away the Google Pixel you just doing these people dirty for no reason."

Meanwhile others were quick to spot how different contestant Mehdi Edho looked in his promotional photos than on Instagram.

Taking to Love Island's official Instagram page, fans appeared to hit out at the show photographers for doing him "dirty".

One Instagram user wrote: "This photo didn't do him justice. From his IG page and he looks good."

Another said: "To the one who took this picture, you need to be fired, Mehdi came to spice things up with his culture background ,but the photographer said otherwise."

While a third furious fan chimed: "I don't know why you don't use photos from their official Instagram accounts because this guy is WAY better looking than you have photographed him here! The pose, the lighting, the everything. AWFUL. Ya'll need a new photographer."

The news comes after presenter Maya recently announced that viewers will get the chance to decide who couples up in the first episode.

Annoucing the news on ITV's Good Morning Britain: "You’ll see them, they get announced this morning.

"So you can kind of make your notes if you want. Start jotting down who you think should be together. And when it starts, off you go."

Love Island returns to ITV2 at 9pm on June 5
