Married At First Sight UK was full of drama on Monday 20 September as Josh insisted that him messaging Morag in the past is "not true" and she called him a "f**king liar" over the claims.

Only recently, Morag, who is married to Luke, told Amy in front of their fellow co-stars that her partner Josh had messaged her last year and the trio got in a heated argument on the latest instalment as they addressed the claims.

Taking to Instagram after the episode aired, Morag said a game during girls' day "forced" her to bring up Josh's messages on the show.

The contestant said: "Let's remember guys, it was a game that forced me to bring it up" as she also shared a message from co-star Tayah who insisted that it was brought up due to them playing "never have I ever".

Tayah penned: "I can't not say anything about this any longer, @morag_moo was asked a question at the girls day, we had cards with questions on when we were playing 'never have I ever'.

"Morag was asked if someone else's husband had DM'ed them, this whole situation didn't get drawn out of nowhere. I wish everyone could see how amazing Morag is, she will forever be a close friend of mine," followed by a heart emoji.

OK! has contacted E4 for further comment.

During Monday's episode, Morag said to Amy in front of Josh: "I hope that little thing that came out on girls' day didn't cause any problems. Are we good?"

To which Josh questioned why she was bringing this up, as he insisted: "I honestly don't remember!"

With Morag replying: "Yeah, I thought you'd say that!"

Josh continued: "I honestly don't. From my side, it feels like as soon as we get to the right side [him and partner Amy], people try to rock the boat again."

Morag then declared: "It was years ago, hun, it doesn't matter!" she added: "Please don't make a big deal over it."

Josh then claimed: "I don't think it's true…" to which a shocked Morag replied: "Are you serious? You don't remember me at all… someone called Morag, you DMed, liked a load of photos?"

He replied: "Swear on my life, I don't!"

However, Morag continued as she shouted: "Are you f**king for real? Are you serious? You don't think it's real, you sending me a friend request, sending me messages, liking my photos."

Josh then claimed: "I would say, genuinely, coming from my heart… I doubt that is true."

Morag went on to call Josh a "f**king liar" as he insisted: "I've nothing to lie about, when I was single, I spoke to tonnes of ladies."

Josh took umbrage with Morag trying to make out he was still a "lad" as he said he messaged people when he was single before the show.

As Morag started to get upset, Amy shouted at her: "You made it a thing! You could have kept your mouth shut but you f**king brought it up, Morag!" as she stormed off adding: "F**k this s**t man, I'm f**king done!"

Josh was then asked to "own" the claims, to which he again insisted: "There's nothing to own, how am I supposed to remember you?"

Show watchers were left shocked over the explosive episode as they demanded that the only way to solve the conflict was for both Morag and Josh to check their social media.

One person said: "I think Josh or Morag just need to check their dm’s for proof #mafsuk."
