MIC’s Ruby Adler breaks down over boyfriend split – as he moves on with Jemma Lucy

Ruby Adler became emotional as she opened up about her break up with ex-boyfriend Nicholas Sinclair on Made in Chelsea, admitting she'd found the split "hard".

In Monday's episode of Made in Chelsea on 4 December, which is filmed months in advance, Ruby, 27, broke the news of her split to best pal Olivia Bentley as the pair enjoyed a coffee date.

Ruby, who dated Nicholas, 29, for around a year, told Olivia: "My boyfriend and I have broken up. We'd built a home together and we had all these great plans. As much as it hurts I do wish the best for him still."

Olivia, 28, then responded: "Break ups, they are f***ing hard. I know it feels like your world is crashing down and the pain will never go and I promise it's only temporary every day it'll get easier and easier, honestly."

Ruby went on to say that co-star Bella Sharpe, who is dating her ex-boyfriend Reza Amiri-Garroussi, had reached out to her after hearing she was single again. Ruby dated MIC star Reza on and off for 10 years before ending things for good in 2022.

Ruby said: "I know, I will get there. I guess on top of all this Bella has asked to meet me, I don't really know where we're at. I hope that Bella doesn't think that because I'm single now that Rez is going to be an issue."

Olivia then encouraged Ruby to remain single. She said: "If you think you're getting remotely close to Rez…. you are single now for a while!" to which Ruby confirmed: "Yes, single, single, single!"

Ruby first announced her split from Nicholas in September. She first claimed that Nicholas had cheated on her with Jemma Lucy, before later retracting these claims, posting that while he is now dating the glamour model there was no overlap in the relationship.

Ruby shared on Instagram: "On reflection on my last post I shouldn't have said what I said, especially so publicly. I should have handled things differently and I'm just processing a really hard break up and I very much retract what I said about @nicholas._.sinclair & @jemlucy_link."

She added: "I don't believe there was cross over, and I posted that in haste after receiving some very strange messages. And I'm just hurting. We had a year long very loving relationship and I wish him all the best. Please leave both of them alone and respect all parties. Thank you."

Nicholas and Jemma have since gone public with their relationship, sharing dozens of loved-up photos on Instagram along with gushing captions. The new couple have even had each other's names tattooed in a bid to show how serious their romance is.
