IF fans aren’t already sick of Noel and Liam Gallagher’s bickering they will be now.
The duo were meant to release an Oasis greatest hits album with incredible extra tracks but couldn’t agree on the project so it was scrapped.
It was all ready to go with the rockers’ best songs from the Noughties, including songs taken from albums Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, Heathen Chemistry, Don’t Believe The Truth and Dig Out Your Soul.
It was also set to feature a bonus disc of demos, B-sides and unreleased songs and was meant to be released after demo Don’t Stop appeared on streaming sites last year.
Noel said: “You know that Don’t Stop demo we put up? We had planned to do an Oasis best of the 2000s because it’s a period of Oasis that the masses are not interested in but for the actual fans there’s some great tunes.
“With Don’t Stop it was like, ‘Well people are f***ing floundering, put that out, the fans will love it’. Well, we did this best of and the bonus disc was gonna be all these unreleased songs.
“But, ha, unfortunately we couldn’t agree on something and it got dropped by the wayside.”
Among the lost gems were cover versions of The Beatles’ Eleanor Rigby and It’s All Too Much, recorded as a tribute to George Harrison, plus collabora- tions with Yes drummer Alan White and The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr.
LOST GEMS
To make us all the more angry with them, Noel told Record Collector magazine: “There was this box in the cupboard under the stairs with all these blank CDs in.
“I went, ‘Right, today I’m going to f***ing take that’. I’m putting on these CDs and I found a load of old Oasis stuff, like songs I’d never recorded but demoed. I’m going, ‘No f***ing way’.
“There’s a great version of Eleanor Rigby, a punk version, and an amazing version of It’s All Too Much we did on the day George died. Johnny Marr’s on it.
“I’d forgotten all about it. It was just the backing track. Liam hadn’t gotten round to doing the vocals.”
Instead, Noel is now releasing a collection to mark his ten-years solo.
He added: “I was like, ‘Well hang on a minute, it’s ten years since I went solo, why don’t we just do a best of?’”
It’s a minor reprieve at least.

Squats up with Khloe?
KHLOE Kardashian makes squats look knee-sy as she crouches for a sexy Instagram snap.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posed in leather trousers with a matching black top, stilettos and cow-print bag.
She had glammed up for the launch of her sister Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand at a bash in Hollywood restaurant The Nice Guy.
Khloe was seen partying with stars including singer Katy Perry – but her fiance, basketball player Tristan Thompson was missing.
A woman claimed last month that he did the dirty on Khloe in January. After the allegation came to light, Khloe stopped wearing her huge diamond engagement ring.
She is certainly showing him what he is missing.
It's Little (Re)Mix
JESY Nelson’s exit meant Little Mix had to re-record their latest song with David Guetta and Swedish duo Galantis – as she was on it.
Asked if there’s a version of Heartbreak Anthem featuring Jesy, Galantis’s Christian Karlsson said: “Yes . . . you’ll have to ask them. That’s not me.” Speaking on Capital FM, he went on to praise remaining band members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall.
He said: “I’ve never worked with anyone more professional than Little Mix with their vocals. They’re so hard working with them.”
Rag ‘N’ Bone kip trick
RAG ’N’ Bone Man is trying a healthier alternative to cure his insomnia after admitting he turned to cannabis and sleeping pills to help him nod off.
The singer, real name Rory Graham, said he has started using his three-year-old son Reuben’s white noise machine.
He said: “I’ve always had issues with sleep. I’ve found ways. It used to be weed. But now I can’t smoke weed any more. It got worse.
“I’ve gone through periods when I need to take sleeping tablets, then that didn’t work for me either.
“For the whole time I wasn’t really making music and had time off I slept perfectly. It’s only when I’m working and there’s things going on that I can’t stop thinking about.
“My son used to have this little light thing, but it also has white noise. That used to work for me really well. If I leave my door open I can still sometimes hear it and that helps me get off.”
He also told Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast his obsession with tattoos saw him struggling to play during his debut tour in 2017.
He said with a laugh: “I had this stupid idea on one of my first tours that I should get a tattoo every day of my tour and I got to number five. The plan was to get small ones, but I ended up getting one on the inside of my left arm, one on the inside of my right arm, one on my elbow, then one on my chest.
“I was playing at Edinburgh and the O2, like, doing the stance of almost like a mummy because I felt like I couldn’t move my arms properly. It was awful.”
‘Fake that’ are tops
GARY Barlow has revealed he snubbed a Take That tribute act at a wedding reception as they were better than the real thing.
And the former X Factor judge reckons he comes across cover acts who can outperform him “all the time”.
On his upcoming BBC1 special I’m With The Band, which I revealed earlier this month, he said: “We went to a wedding and they said, ‘Oh, we’ve got a Take That band’.
“I was all right with it until they started to sing – they were brilliant. I was like, ‘Get these off, now’.
“They were like, ‘Do you want to come up and sing?’
“ ‘No. No way on Earth do I want to sing with you’.”
I’m With The Band sees Gary recreate his lockdown Crooner Sessions in real life, forming a group with solo acts including James Bay and jazz singer Jamie Cullum.
Jamie comments: “It’s not a band until we have some kind of fight and you’ve got someone else to blame when things go wrong.”
Unable to resist poking fun at Take That’s historic in-fighting, Gary joked: “Blame’s a big one. It’s underrated, blame.”
God help anyone who strikes a bum note.
Hailey is cut out for partying
HAILEY Bieber looked sharp in this black dress for Drake’s Billboard Awards after-party.
The model showed off her long legs and toned tum in the cut-out number.
Hailey was with her husband, pop star Justin, at the party and they mixed with actors Megan Fox and Ryan Phillipe.
The Canadian rapper hired the 70,000 capacity SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles for his celebrations following the awards ceremony, where he was honoured with the Artist of the Decade gong.
MAROON 5’s new album will feature posthumous tracks from rappers Juice Wrld and Nipsey Hussle. The record, Jordi, is a tribute to the band’s late manager Jordan Feldstein. Out next month, it also has collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks and Jason Derulo.
RISING star Tyla has signed a major recording deal.
The South African has joined Mariah Carey, Camila Cabello and Meghan Trainor by putting pen to paper with Epic Records.
She has been snapped up after debut single, Getting Late racked up more than 1.7million YouTube views plus a million streams.
Tyla said: “This really is a dream come true.
“I had no plan B, so this is something I invested my everything into and I could not be more satisfied.
“To be welcomed into the Epic family like this, it’s such an honour, I’m so grateful for everyone who believes in me.”
