The stunning video documents the ‘waterfall’ coming from the upper deck and landing on a lower deck as the floor begins to flood.

Passengers on the ship can be seen laughing, running, and taking photos and videos as the water continues to fall.

The ship and its captain had taken emergency action to avoid a suspected refugee raft in the ocean after visiting CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private Caribbean island, on Monday.

The turn caused the water from the pool’s Deck 15 to overflow and spill over.

The water trickled down to Deck 8 where another pool was located.

Some guests appeared unbothered by the flooding water at their feet

A Royal Caribbean spokesperson shared the following statement with DailyMail.com Monday regarding the incident:

‘On Tuesday, Jan. 3, Harmony of the Seas spotted a raft at sea and maneuvered to provide assistance. This maneuver unexpectedly caused water from the pool deck to go over into a lower deck of the ship.

‘Fortunately, this was immediately managed and cleaned up by our crew, and there were no injuries or any damage.

‘The 7-night Caribbean cruise continued to the next destination as planned.

‘The raft was empty, and Royal Caribbean provided details to the U.S. Coast Guard.’

According to Cruise Hive, the water most likely came from the Beach Pool on the ship’s starboard side

Cruise Hive reported crew members had spotted a potential refugee raft as traveled through the Straits of Florida.

According to the cruise-centered outlet, the water most likely came from the Beach Pool on the ship’s starboard side.

Some water may have also come from the Splashaway Bay Attraction, also on Deck 15.

Cruise Hive reported the ship’s crew were seen ‘cleaning up the spillage and drying out the deck to minimize any after effects,’ after the incident.
