Britney Spears reportedly had a "manic" meltdown while out for dinner in Los Angeles on Friday (January 14).

The singer, 41, arrived at Joey in the Woodland Hills area with her husband Sam Asghari and their bodyguard.

TMZ reported that the Toxic songstress became upset when people inside the restaurant began taking pictures of her, which ultimately caused her to start yelling and speaking in gibberish.

In a clip obtained by the outlet, the pop icon can be seen holding up a menu in a bid to hide her face from cameras.

After Britney began acting "manic," sources claimed Britney's husband, 28, was "visibly upset" with what happened and reportedly "stormed out" of the venue.

Daily Star has contacted Britney's representatives for comment.

This comes shortly after the Baby One More Time hitmaker's fans begged the conspiracy theories surrounding her safety to stop after Sam shared a rare snap alongside his wife.

Posted on his social media, the model could be seen embracing the singer while they mediated and enjoyed each other's company outside surrounded by greenery.

Sharing the clip to his 3 million Instagram followers, Sam wrote: "A little hike & a little meditation on Christmas Day goes a long way my wife is really becoming a meditation guru and I love it.

"Merry Britmas to you all from Samta & Britney," he added.

Seeing their wholesome display, fans begged others not stop criticising the couple and put their wild theories to bed.

One follower penned: "She posts stuff, people criticise, she doesn’t post stuff people criticise, Sam posts stuff, people criticise!! Can people stop being so judgemental, the woman is living her life how she wants and needs to! Be happy for them."

"Britney is just fine y’all . Y’all started this conspiracy theories," added a second.

A third echoed: "There is your proof you psychotic Britney fans. As a huge fan since Baby One More Time … I can say I am ashamed of your behaviour since they got married. Grow up and enough with the conspiracy theories.."
