Taylor Schabusiness is found GUILTY of homicide – as new video shows her describing in graphic detail how she dismembered and sexually assaulted ex-boyfriend at the same time in meth-fueled attack

  • Schabusiness is guilty of homicide, third degree sexual abuse, mutilating corpse in the slaying of Shad Thyrion, 24, who was killed in mom’s basement in 2022

A  jury found a Green Bay woman guilty of killing and dismembering a former boyfriend and scattering his body parts at various locations.

Taylor Schabusiness, 25, smirked and at one point giggled in court as the jury watched a police interrogation video where she revealed disturbing details about choking Shad Thyrion, 24, to death, and how much she liked it.

‘I was sucking and cutting at the same time,’ Schabusiness said in the video, Law&Crime reported. ‘I liked it. I didn’t know what to do.’

The Brown County jury deliberated less than an hour before convicting Schabusiness of homicide, third-degree sexual abuse and mutilating a corpse in the February 2022 killing of Thyrion.

Taylor Schabusiness, 25, was found guilty Wednesday of homicide, third-degree sexual abuse and mutilating a corpse in the February 2022 killing of Shad Thyrion, 24

Thyrion’s penis was found in the same bucket as his head while other body parts were found in a variety of bags in the basement including plastic shopping bags

Authorities say she strangled Thyrion at the Green Bay home he shared with his mother, sexually abused him and dismembered his body, leaving parts of it throughout the house and in a vehicle.

Thyrion’s severed head and penis were found by his mother in a bucket in the basement of her home.

Green Bay Police Department Detective David Graf testified Wednesday about his interview with Schabusiness who allegedly confessed to cuddling her boyfriend’s headless corpse after the killing.

‘She described how she had sexual contact with the body in terms of playing with his penis,’ Graf testified.

‘Also, she described that she had a dildo that she placed into his mouth … And that she had also cuddled the body.’

In the body camera footage shown in court on Monday, cops were shown to the basement where they made the gruesome discovery in the bucket

In his closing argument, Brown County District Attorney David Lasee called the case ‘bizarre.’

‘This is strange. This is unnatural – but in no way is it unclear,’ Lasee said. ‘She did cause Shad Thyrion´s death.’

Defense attorney Christopher Froelich said the case was ‘a puzzling, unclear collection of facts.’

‘Was this an accidental death? Was there intent to kill Shad Thryion? It´s foggy, it´s cloudy, it´s hard to figure out,’ Froelich said.

The trial now moves into a second phase to determine whether Schabusiness was mentally ill and should be sent to a mental institution or should go to prison.

Following her arrest, Schabusiness had a not guilty plea entered on her behalf by the court and a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity entered by her former attorney.

Brown County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Walsh ruled in March that Schabusiness was competent to stand trial.

In February, Schabusiness attacked her previous attorney during a hearing before a deputy wrestled her to the courtroom floor.
