French authorities are looking for the cyclist fan who caused a bloody crash Saturday during the Tour de France — an incident punishable by up to a year behind bars — as the race’s organizers plan to sue the clueless sign-brandishing spectator, according to reports.

Prosecutors in Brittany on Sunday began an investigation to find the grinning, sign-holding woman who caused a gory pile up during the famous French race, according to the Daily Mail.

The woman — pictures hoisting a cardboard sign that read ‘Go! Gran, Grandad,’ in French and German — who started the injury-causing crash during the Tour de France’s first stage can be locked up for a year.

A spokesman for Finistere gendarmerie said the spectator fled the scene before investigators came, according to the Daily Mail.

“The spectator who caused this accident left the scene before the arrival of the investigators,” the representative said. “Everything is being done to try and find her.

“She was wearing glasses and dressed in blue jeans, a red and white striped sweater, and a waxed yellow jacket.”

Prosecutors reportedly said they began a criminal investigation for “deliberately violating safety regulations and causing injuries that might prevent someone working for up to three months.”

The crime in France is punishable with as much as a year in prison and an about £13,000 fine, according to the Mail.

Meanwhile, the organizers behind the Tour de France are planning a lawsuit against the oblivious cyclist fan, AFP reported.

“We are suing this woman who behaved so badly,” tour deputations director Pierre-Yvess Thouault said, according to AFP.

“We are doing this so that the tiny minority of people who do this don’t spoil the show for everyone.”

During the race, Tony Martin crashes into the sign, sending him to the ground, which caused other riders to crash. The race derailing caused bike damages and several injuries to riders.
