That's it for tonight!

What an episode it has been.

We met the 16 contestants and they are certainly a lively bunch.

From all across the country and all different walks of life who knows what is in store for this year’s series!

Will Olivia be able to save herself from eviction? Will the feud between Jenkin and Olivia deepen or will they be able to put their tiff behind them?

Is this series already making new iconic moments?

It's all over! But the drama has just begun…

That’s it from tonight’s installment from the house!

But don’t worry, up next on ITV2 is Big Brother Late and Live!

Are perms back in?

Matty and Tom seem to be long lost brothers with their matching perms!

Olivia seems to have fans divided

Do viewers want Olivia to stay for the drama, or is she too much already?

Olivia is the first housemate up for eviction

The drama has already begun as Olivia is nominated for eviction on Friday after Jenkin voted her the difficult housemate to live with.

The Scottish lass got emotional with Farida in the garden as she accused him of being ‘fake’.

She then headed to talk to Big Brother as she let her emotions out.

Sympathising with the contestant, Big Brother has offered her the chance of immunity.

He revealed the housemates will rate each other from best to worst entertainer, as long as Olivia isn’t last she will be saved. Hooray!

It's time for another party game!

Now all the housemates are in it’s time for some pass the parcel.

And the drama has already kicked off with Jenkin’s suitcase getting blown up after he was voted the housemate with the worst dress sense.

There could already be tension between Jenkin and Olivia as he voted her the most difficult to live with!

Coming in with a bang

Fans went wild for Kerry’s entrance!

Housemate 16: Kerry

Kerry is a 40-year-old NHS manager from Essex.

Making an incredible entrance Kerry arrived on a mobility scooter as she confessed she doesn’t let her multiple sclerosis stop her from anything.

Kerry also confessed that when she found out the show was coming back she cried!

‘When I saw it was coming back and searching for real people from all walks of life, I thought, this is my year.’

Housemate 15: Olivia

Olivia is a 23-year-old dancer from Glasgow.

She’s the oldest of three sisters and confessed she’s the ‘princess’ of the house, will her reign continue in Big Brother?

Olivia is loud and confident and annoying, but if you want to scare her give her some jam, it’s her greatest fear.

Two more to go!

It might seem like the contestants will never end but we just have two more to go!

Housemate 14: Henry

Henry is 25-year-old food writer from the Cotswolds.

The ex-boarding school student is bringing a bit of class to the house with his velvet suit and Michelin star taste.

He confessed: ‘When I was seven years old I asked my parents to take me to a two Michelin star restaurant for my birthday – they’ve never even heard of it!’

Housemate 13: Paul

Paul is a 23-year-old security officer from Liverpool.

Doing it for the Scousers, Paul revealed he poos with the door open, let’s hope his housemates can get used to that!

He confessed he is most likely to be the biggest wind up and eat all the food and be the loudest housemate.

It sounds like Paul could cause some drama!

Housemate 12: Matty

Matty is a 24-year-old doctor from the Isle Man.

However as well as a doctor he is also a massage therapist, will he be treating any of his housemates to a bit of relaxation when the stress of the house gets too much?

He said his family and friends would describe him as ‘Someone who is kind and fun and doesn’t take life too seriously,’ – sounds like the perfect fit for the house!

Housemate 11: Noky

Noky is a 26-year-old banker from Derby.

However she is no stranger to the spotlight after she represented Great Britain as in the Miss Universe competiton.

Noky is a keen baker which is sure to go down well with the housemates!

We are over halfway to a full house!

You can say that again…

Housemate 10: Dylan

Dylan is a 39-year-old DJ from Coventry.

It looks like Dylan will be bringing the tunes in the house as he confessed he is a loud and musical person who likes to sing alot!

‘Maybe I’m a little bit over the top for some people but we will see,’ – we will see indeed!

Housemate 9: Channelle

Chanelle is a 29-year-old dental therapist from Llanelli in Wales.

Jenkin already has a Welsh ally!

She applied as a joke but now it has all become very real and she is in the Big Brother house ready to meet a whole new bunch of friends.

Channelle might have a first class hounours degree, but she confessed she has no common sense: ‘I’m quite book smart but I have no common sense so when I tell people I got first class honours, they’re like, ‘Did you pay someone for that?’

Housemate 8: Zak

Zak is a 28-year-old model from Manchester.

He might look like he would be more suited to Love Island, but Zak revealed he never wanted to do a dating show and just wanted to be part of a show where he could get his personality across.

His dream celebrity housemates would be Seth Rogen, Mike Tyson, and maybe Nicole Scherzinger.

Housemate 7: Jordan

Jordan is a 25-year-old lawyer from Scunthorpe… but he doesn’t sound it.

The lawyer decided he liked the accents from Downtown Abbey and then taught himself to speak like the upper class characters!

‘I adore floral shirts, as viewers will see’ – we love a fashionista!

Housemate 6: Yinrun

Yinrun is a 25-year-old Customer Support Agent from Harrogate.

She confessed: ‘I snore during the night so that might be annoying but I don’t snore loudly. My friend recorded it for me once and it sounded like bubbles.’

Oh no?! Sounds like the housemates might not love sharing a room with her!

Party game time!

The party is already heating up with a bit of Kylie Minogue and musical statues.

And Jenkin and Tom are already eliminated by Big Brother himself!

Viewers are liking the contestants so far

The show has gone back to the original format and is welcoming normal people to the house.

Housemate number 5: Trish

Trish is a 33-year-old Mum from Luton.

She hates the Tories and is argumentative, we can’t wait!

Her family would describe her as: ‘Responsibly crazy. Definitely opinionated’ just what we need in the Big Brother house!

It looks like the fans are happy to have the show back in their living rooms

Anyone else looking like this this evening?

Housemate number 4: Hallie

Hallie is an 18-year-old youth worker from London.

She might be young, but she says she is a bit of a diva and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.

‘I’m quite opinionated, I like speaking my mind and not many people like that. I’m quite real.’

Well if there’s one place you are going to get exposed for not being real it is the Big Brother house under 24 hour surveillance!

Housemate number 3: Tom

Tom is a 21-year-old butcher from Somerset who says his ‘mouth moves faster than my brain’.

Sounds like he could definitely be bringing some drama to this year’s series!

‘I think I might potentially offend some people’ – Could he be the next Nasty Nick?

Housemate number two: Farida

Farida is a 50-year-old makeup artist from Wolverhampton and she has come in with fighting talk.

‘People will nominate me because they feel intimidated by the fact that I’ve got potential to win this, it’s as simple as that.’

She is confident but will the house be what she expects?

Housemate number one: Jenkin

The first housemate is revealed!

Jenkin is a barman from Bridgend in Wales.

The Welshman couln’t seem to believe he was the first in the house and it looks like he is blown away by the house.

He can speak fluent Welsh and rap Cardi B’s album start to finish, what’s not to love, looks like there won’t be a quiet moment in the house!

Big Brother sees it all!

It’s finally time, the house is empty for now but who will be the first housemate?

Not long now, but who is the man behind the iconic Big Brother voice?

Big Brother’s long-awaited return has finally arrived and so has its iconic soundtrack – the voice of Marcus Bentley.

He has voiced every series of Big Brother and has therefore become an integral part of the experience.
