Jeremy Renner is back on his feet 7 months after breaking 30 bones in horror accident which left him unable to walk | The Sun

ACTOR Jeremy Renner was all smiles as he attended Kate Beckinsale’s 50th Birthday bash in Los Angeles, California.

The Avengers star, 52, cut a casual figure in white chino trousers, pale blue shirt and lilac denim jacket.

Jeremy is back on his feet after a horror accident on New Year’s Day left him in intensive care for two weeks and unable to walk for months.

Despite breaking more than 30 bones in the snow plow crash, in May Jeremy revealed he was back on his feet running once more thanks to the help of an anti-gravity treadmill.

He said at the time: “First attempt at a very light jog with weight assisted lift for the broken tibia. Pain is progress for me”.

Renner was run down by a seven-ton snow plough on New Year's Day as he battled to free a trapped family member from the immense snow drifts surrounding his home in Lake Tahoe, California.

Authorities said Renner tried to use the snow plough to free a relative whose vehicle had become stuck in the snow.

After getting out of the plough to speak, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said: "It was observed that the PistenBully [snow plough] was starting to roll."

Renner tried to get back into the vehicle, but it rolled over him in front of horrified relatives.

He was airlifted to hospital by helicopter and rushed to the ICU in a critical condition.
